Pinnacle Supercast 99 welding electrode is a basic nickel/iron welding rod coated with graphite. This electrode produces a machinable weld without the need for preheating. It produces a smooth, stable ARC with minimal penetration and spatter, making it an excellent maintenance and repair electrode. Supercast 99 can weld a wide range of cast iron components such as engine blocks, cylinder heads, differential housings, gearboxes, pumps, etc.
Suitable for inlays, joints, hole filling, breaks and cracks in all types of cast iron. It has very good out-of-position welding characteristics.
