Our history.
Jatoba Trading was founded in 1998 with the vision of becoming a trusted partner in the import and export industry across Africa. Starting in Angola, we quickly built a reputation for reliability and excellence, supplying general merchandise to some of the country’s largest organizations, including Banco Sol, Centro de Convenções de Talatona, GPL, TAAG, Consulf, Sociedade Mineira do Lucapa, Ghassist and the National Police. Over the years, our operations have expanded to Mozambique, where we proudly serve major clients such as Auto Equipamentos e Consumíveis and Bentocom.
Our success lies in our ability to adapt to each client’s unique needs and challenges. For Sociedade Mineira do Lucapa, we transformed their supply chain by addressing a significant problem: an entire warehouse full of incorrectly supplied parts. After we took responsibility for checking the parts at the source in South Africa before shipping to Angola, not a single incorrect part was delivered. This level of accuracy and attention to detail has become a hallmark of our service.
Similarly, for Banco Sol, we went beyond standard supply services by delivering custom-made furniture specifically for their branches in Angola. We also played a key role in enhancing their headquarters by installing the iconic globe atop their headquarters—an achievement that underscores our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
