Our story.
Jatoba Trading was established in 1998 with a vision to become a trusted partner in trade and logistics across Africa.
The company began by supporting organisations in Angola with procurement and supply-chain solutions. Over the years, we worked with several prominent organisations, including Banco Sol, the Talatona Convention Centre, GPL, TAAG, Consulf, Sociedade Mineira do Lucapa, Ghassist and the National Police. Our operations later expanded into Mozambique, where we developed strong working relationships with businesses such as Auto Equipamentos e Consumíveis and Bentocom.
Throughout our history, our success has been driven by our ability to understand each client’s needs, solve complex logistical challenges and deliver with accuracy.
For Sociedade Mineira do Lucapa, we introduced a thorough verification process in South Africa before parts were dispatched to Angola. This resolved a long-standing issue involving incorrectly supplied items and demonstrated the attention to detail that continues to define our approach.
For Banco Sol, our work extended beyond traditional procurement. We supplied custom-made furniture for its branches and assisted with improvements to its head office, including the installation of the iconic globe positioned above the building.
These projects helped establish Jatoba Trading’s reputation for reliability, practical problem-solving and dependable service.
As the business evolved, so did our direction. Drawing on decades of experience in international trade and cross-border operations, we strengthened our focus on transport and logistics throughout Southern Africa. Today, we provide reliable local and cross-border freight solutions supported by established infrastructure, industry knowledge and hands-on operational experience.
In 2025, Jatoba Trading entered a new chapter with the launch of Rosefii, our premium home-finishes brand.
