The chisels in the set are reinforced for use with wooden hammer. It is mainly used in the carpentry and joinery industry.
Chisels are commonly called bevel-edge chisels and are used to trim rounded edges when a hinge or strike plate is installed on a door. It is also useful when making mortise and tenon joints.
The chisels have a standard sharp angled bevel of 30°. A secondary bevel of 35° can be made later, depending on the wood and the use of the chisels.
