The Bentool SDT 205S Car Smoke Leak Detector is a professional tool designed to detect leaks in automotive piping systems quickly and accurately. It is suitable for use on various vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, off-road vehicles, ATVs, light trucks, and speedboats.

How to perform a leak test:

• Fill the detector with 20 ml of baby oil for the first time. Open the engine cover and hang the detector on the cover.
  
• Disconnect the tube that needs to be connected to the detector.
  
• Connect the detector with DC12V battery, turn on the power switch, and the detector will start working.
  
• In about 30 seconds, the pipe will be filled with smoke. Check for leaks. Use your headlight if necessary.

Careful:

• When using for the first time, fill with 20 ml of oil. Be careful NOT to exceed this range.
  
• Test liquid: liquid paraffin and baby oil are acceptable.
  
• New oil can be filled only when the smoke becomes thin, and no more than 20 ml can be filled at a time.
  
• Before filling with new oil, pour out the remaining oil in the detector and replace the detector oil regularly.
  
• During leak detection, stay away from smoke-sensitive parts.
  
• DO NOT operate the detector continuously for more than 8 minutes. It requires interval rest.
  
• The detector has an intelligent protector and will automatically shut down if it exceeds the working limit, such as over 75℃.
  
• The round part of this detector generates heat, so avoid burns.
  
• If the test tube needs to be disconnected in the middle, secure the other side with a rubber plug.
