0.37 kW peripheral vane water pump with flow control switch

A peripheral vane pump, also known as a regenerative turbine pump, operates with a peripheral impeller rotating in a largely concentric casing channel with an inlet and an outlet opening. Energy is added to the liquid as it travels from the center of the impeller to the edge. In a regenerative turbine, the pump liquid recirculates between the impeller vanes. The input power of peripheral pumps decreases with increasing flow rate.
